Wine Valley Newsletter – April 2020
Hi from Wine Valley Golf Club
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we started off this spring with many new challenges. Keeping our staff and guests safe was and is our first priority. I believe we successfully executed our plans and staff is to be commended for the job they did.
Now we have been ordered to be closed on the Governor’s “Stay Home – Stay Healthy” order through May 4th.
We are saddened to delay many outings and tournaments scheduled for April & May, but we look forward to hosting those activities later in the season when it will be safer for all.
Our golf course superintendent is keeping the course in awesome condition and I am certain the course will be even more amazing than normal when we reopen.
I have always felt that golf is one of the very best health and wellness programs available to participate in. In the absence of golf…when you take your walk carry a golf club with you and stop and take a few swings along the way. This might look a little odd, but we must stay healthy! You can also swing the club in your backyard.
We will continue to do our part to ensure safety to everyone as we progress through the year. In the meantime, please stay safe everyone.
