WINE VALLEY TOURNAMENTS

WINE VALLEY GOLF CLUB WILL HOST THE 2010 INAUGURAL WSGA MID-AMATEUR
August 6th-7th, 2010
Wine Valley Golf Club has been selected by the Washington State Golf Association to host the 2010 Inaugural WSGA Men's and Women's Mid-Amateur Championship. Director of Golf, John Thorsnes, says, “We are very honored to have been selected for this event, especially given the fact that Wine Valley Golf Club is less than a year old.” The tournament will be held August 6th & 7th. The 36-hole, stroke play competition will be open to amateur golfers who are at least 25 years of age. All players must be members of a WSGA Member Club with an established USGA Handicap Index of 16.4 or less for men and 24.4 or less for women. Sign ups will start in the early spring on the WSGA website at www.thewsga.org.

THE 2010 NORTHWEST OPEN PRO-AM
August 20th-22th, 2010
In celebration of Wine Valley Golf Club being awarded the 2010 Northwest Open, we will host a two-day Pro-Am. Teams will be comprised of one Professional and three Amateurs. The 20th will be a practice round day. The details are being finalized, but the tournament will include wine tours and a gala dinner. Entry form to come ~ Mark your calendar.

THE 2010 NORTHWEST OPEN COMES
TO WINE VALLEY GOLF CLUB

Wine Valley Golf Club has been awarded the 2010 Northwest Open. The tournament, which dates back as one of the oldest and most prestigious in the Northwest, has a list of past champions that includes Fred Couples, Bob Gilder, Don Bies and Rick Acton. The field will consist of 168 of the top professionals and amateurs from the Northwest. The 54-hole tournament will be held August 23rd through the 25th of next year. A corresponding Pro-Am event will be held the three days prior to the tournament proper, with details available in the very near future.
